FAMILY, THE KIDS

Our Merry Time on The Disney Dream

Hey, friends! I’m back!

If you follow me on Instagram, you know that my family took a nice cruise last week. We went on The Disney Dream for their ‘Merrytime’ cruise, which is Christmas themed. Mercy Me (the band) and the voice cast of Adventures in Odyssey were also on board, so we got to hang out with them and catch live performances from them. It was, in short, incredible. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who has the ability to go.

The ship itself had so much to do, from a movie theatre to live performances to several pools and waterslides to choose from. There was an ice cream and candy parlor, mini golf, an arcade, and of course, the kid’s area where you can drop your little ones off for some well-supervised fun while the adults go off and do their own thing. Our cruise had port days at Nassau and Castaway Cay (Disney’s private island), as well as days at sea. We actually never got off the boat! On the port days, more than half of the passengers disembarked, and we had free reign of all the fun stuff on board (especially the waterslides!) and got to do what we wanted.

The food was unbelievable. There were so many options, and literally everything I tasted was delicious. My favorite part was that it was all included, except for alcohol, any specialty coffees, and the specialty ice cream shop. But the sit-down meals, the buffet, and the 24-hour room service were all complimentary. What a treat!

Pictures are worth a thousand words, so without any further blabbering from me, here’s a slideshow (in no particular order!) of our amazing trip!
