What is Echaria Rising?

If you are here, you are wondering what Echaria Rising is, and why I keep blabbing on about it. Don’t worry, friends! I have answers!

What is Echaria Rising?

Echaria Rising is the first installment in The Echarian Chronicles series, written by yours truly! It will be published under K. M. Reynolds, but that’s still me!

What is it about?

It is the story of a young woman who discovers that her entire identity and past is built on a lie, and she has to go on a quest to find out more about herself, and to set history right. It is set in the Kingdom of Echaria (Middle Earth meets Narnia meets Classic Fairytale). There is magic, mythical creatures, danger, and of course, romance (but I keep it PG 13, don’t worry).

The official Genre is High Fantasy (but as the series evolves, it will become more Epic Fantasy). It also falls pretty squarely into the Chick Lit genre, due to an extremely strong, predominantly female cast of characters.

Book 2

Where can I get it?

Glad you asked! Right now, I’m accepting pre-orders here (paperback only, payment made via PayPal), and the book itself will be launched May 11, 2018 on Amazon and Kindle.

How much is it?

The pre-order is $10.99 plus $2.50 shipping, and includes a signed paperback copy and a color printout of the Kingdom Map.

Once it launches on Amazon (in May), the paperback will be $13.99 (plus whatever Amazon charges for shipping), and the Ebook format on Kindle will be $2.99.

I need to know more!

Great! Get in touch with me via my Contact Page, and I’m more than happy to answer any questions I can about the wonderful world of Echaria (or anything else that tickles your fancy).
